Rockford Spine Center is seeking a full-time physical therapist to join our fantastic team! We are dedicated to quality patient care while also providing an exceptional physical therapy experience. We customize each plan of care to be specific to the patient’s individual needs and goals. You will be welcomed by a team of 2 physical therapists and 2 physical therapist assistants. Our physical therapy clinic operates as a team to foster the most productive environment so patients can meet their goals and get back to doing the things they enjoy in life.

The PT department works directly with nationally recognized spinal surgeons for preoperative, post-operative and non-operative patients. We also have two non-surgical providers that refer patients for a variety of spine and general orthopedic conditions.

Rockford Spine Center offers a great work life balance. Each clinician treats patients Monday-Thursday eight hours per day and Fridays until noon. We do not see patients on the weekends or on holidays.

Candidates need to have graduated from a PT accredited program and hold an active license in the state of Illinois.

Salary Range: $85,000-$90,000

Plus Monthly Production Bonuses: ranging from $0-$750

Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 with a 2 year employment guarantee

Responsibilities including the following:

Create a comprehensive plan of care based upon the patient’s presentation and diagnosis after a thorough evaluation is performed. New patient evaluations are 1 hour in duration allowing the therapist to understand the patient’s needs, evaluate and incorporate a plan of care aimed at targeting the entire patient. All other PT visits are scheduled for 30 minute intervals so there is minimal overlap with multiple patients. We want our patients to receive the most one on one care as reasonably possible.

Providers are expected to document each visit and bill appropriately for their time.

Education and/or required experience: Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate from an accredited PT program

Physical therapists are salaried employees and offered a production bonus based on monthly performance, however not mandated with any productivity requirements.

Hours: Monday and Wednesdays 7:15 – 3:45, Tuesday and Thursdays 9:30 – 6, and Fridays 8:00-12:00.
