As the Business Developer for Patient Monitoring, you will help create and drive business development activities and commercial & marketing initiatives for the Patient Monitoring Portfolio with a focus on Capnography and Nociception. You will engage the commercial and cross functional teams in your country to deliver an excellent customer experience and grow adoption.

In Medtronic Patient Monitoring , we deliver solutions for critical care areas (OR and ICU) and go further across the patient’s care continuum to avoid perioperative complications and respiratory compromise. In the future, we will use real-time data and artificial intelligence to support our patients from hospital to home. A Day in the Life

  • Identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term business strategies relating to the expansion of Medtronic therapies at the account or territory level.
  • Coordinate with both customer and Medtronic stakeholders to identify account needs and potential for implementing market development projects.
  • Develop business models and determine local market trends to substantiate long-term prospects and approaches.
  • Create, develop, and maintain referral pathways with stakeholders to ensure sustainable patient access to therapies.
  • Identify and support the implementation of patient pathway optimization programs.
  • Ensure clear understanding and documentation of clinical and economic benefits of increased therapy adoption.
  • Expand our KOL network by building new and fostering existing KOL relationships.
  • Develop and disseminate information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent required with post-graduate degree
  • 5 to 10+ years of professional experience in market & business development or sales
  • Experience in developing and influencing stakeholders
  • Experience in leading complex sales- and business development projects, strong prioritization skills with ability to coordinate multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills, good English level is required
  • Team-player
  • Results-oriented, eagerness to close projects from start to finish.
  • Previous experience working in a regulated industry (i.e. Healthcare, Medical Devices)

Nice to Haves

  • Background in acute patient monitoring market a strong plus

Remote in Italy

Willingness to travel 60% of the time
