Part-Time Sales & Lending Associate (Pawnbroker)-Millsboro, DE

Part-time-$16-$18 per hour. Up to 27 hour work week. Must be available til 7 pm and Saturdays.

Closed Sundays! No late hours.

The part-time sales & lending associate partners with the entire staff by greeting, engaging and interacting with customers in a positive, professional manner. Knowledge of jewelry, tools, and electronics is helpful. We will train you on all facets of this exciting business. We need someone willing to learn. Pawn experience not required, but is helpful. Experience helping customers, understanding concepts about value of jewelry, firearms helpful.

We do work Saturdays (closed Sundays), but no late nights so you can still have plenty of time for the family.

General Duties and Responsibilities that our Pawnbrokers perform:

*Greet and interact with all customers to determine their individual needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions

*Perform non-management open/close procedures

*Keep sales floor clean and stocked; maintain display of merchandise

*Perform sales and loan transactions

*Handle all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures and practices

*Answer incoming calls per company standards

*Effectively communicate to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions

*Communicate effectively with fellow employees and managers, display respect, and use effective communication tools

*Partner with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience

Requirements

* Pass Background Test

*Minimum 21 years of age

*Understanding concepts, or ability to quickly learn about value of jewelry, firearms REQUIRED

* Entrepreneurial spirit

* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

* Knowledge of jewelry and general merchandise preferred

* Ability to accurately handle cash register operations
