Your ‘day to day’:
As P&ED Specialist you will be part of People & Culture Department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna and will be reporting to the P&ED Manager. The position will be based in Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. (Bologna).
In your role you will execute the P&ED strategy leveraging on data analytics and on employee experience for co-creating and efficiently deploy solutions, scaling up program/projects with a collaborative mind-set. You will provide support to business, employees and P&C Team ensuring efficient, precise, timely and cost-effective services in international assignment and data analytics areas following local statutory, labour law legislation, international legislation, PMI requirements.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • MOBILITY: Coordinates with CT the domestic moves ensuring proper data processing and proper service delivery in accordance with the relevant Principle &Practices, supporting employees requests and managing administrative activities. Ensures Global Mobility is managed in line with PMI policies and country laws and international directives, coordinating with Central GM and supported by legal's consultancy. Acts as subject matter expert in order to establish smooth flow of mobility process to/from all countries. Manages external providers (relocation agency, tax provider, landlords and real estate agencies, schools, etc.). Supports Business in properly manage IA activities. Cooperates with Central GM and Host affiliates granting support to employees who are moving: constantly answers employees needs previously, during and at the closure of the assignment. Prepares locally required documents to enable assignments to and out of countries. Reports data and analyses in relation to IA and collaborate with Finance and R2R on the management of the most accurate cost payment and controlling. Maintains and improves quality standards within the area of responsibility as well as identify and bring forward opportunities for improvement in the IA area.

  • COST MANAGEMENT Manages the costs in the GM area; processing Purchase orders, Advance Payments, Non-Invoice Posting, tracking Fixed Assets with Accounting Team, managing rental contracts, monitoring running expenses and preparing inputs for monthly & year-end accruals to observe the budget.

  • LABOUR RELATIONS: Collaborates with P&C Manager, internal and external legal and immigration consultants in the proper management of the relevant litigations / law obligations.

  • PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION: Administers processes and documentation flows related to assignees, in a timely manner supporting business and P&C team, ensuring respect of Labor Law and PMI procedures, and collaborating with Central GM ensuring correct and timely data processing. Maintains employees’ personal files. Manages relevant stakeholders. Processes mandatory information to authorities. Ensures absolute compliance to confidentiality and documentation storage principles of the company and legislation.

  • GLOBAL PROJECTS AND EX: Participates to global initiatives/projects, supports the deployment in the affiliate collaborating with other functions or managing directly the project. Promotes the usage and uses Employee experience tools and leverages on Fast Forward mindset in the affiliate for improving services in the P&ED area and in all the areas where employees are customers, collaborating with central team.

Requirements & Skills:
  • College/University Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or PhD in Economics, Law or Life Sciences disciplines, or equivalent.
  • Overall Experience: 1 years in international assignment.
  • Very good knowledge of English language, written and spoken
  • Very good knowledge of Italian language, written and spoken
  • Extensive P&C process and transaction experience
  • Knowledge of P&C metrics and their applicability, reporting analytics and capability to produce insights
  • Personal computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Employees Experience basic tools, eNPS
  • Strong communication skills & flexibility to understand different perspectives (empathy)
  • Ownership (full autonomy in day-to-day activities)
