Job Overview:

This position works with management to ensure maximum efficiency in all aspects of the Operations Support process including a key focus on process improvements and initiatives. This role will manage an assigned Region/Area within USIG and will be assigned special projects in support of continuous improvement needs as identified by this role and through collaboration within the team. This position will use required judgment in processing/sharing highly sensitive payroll and personnel information

Relationships: This position reports to the Operations Support Supervisor. This position will act as an internal administrator for Operations Field Management, Payroll, and HR professionals to provide key analytical and compliance guidance as needed to these key clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Internal support for all operations personnel. Provides a wide variety of administrative support to operations group, involving HR systems, internal tracking systems, and third party systems.
  • Identify opportunities to support regional operations organization goals through field collaboration. Lead communication around identified opportunities.
  • Complete special projects.
  • Use existing procedures to solve standard problems and provide recommendations.
  • Understands plant specific permitting needs, including Board of Pharmacy, Underground Storage, Weighmaster, and FCC Radio Licenses.
  • Administer the FMCSA/PHMSA Random Drug Screening program.
  • Process non-exempt payroll through Kronos. Understand payroll contracts and internal policies to ensure payroll is completed correctly and payroll adjustments are processed in a timely manner.
  • Administer on-boarding, terminations, and transfers through SAP. Serve as point of contact for managers for new hires.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in business, office management, or equivalent.
  • High level proficiency with Microsoft office, including Word and Excel with focus on pivot table analytics.
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage through change.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet team deadlines.
  • Experience with Kronos, SAP, Alere, Taleo a plus.

Pay: $52,950.00 - $77,660.00 per year
