Non-profit Coordinator

20-30 hours per week

Position Description:
As the Non-profit Coordinator, this person will develop and implement event rentals at The Center, including other non-profit fundraising events.
As the Non-profit Coordinator, this person is the on-site event supervisor and representative of the The Center. He/She is also the on-site person who represents the interests of the client as it relates to the smooth and efficient roll-out of the event and meeting the client's expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients detailing and potential clients to review event options and finalize event details
• Generate a detail sheet and floor plan
• Keep bar manager up to date with clients beverage orders
• Track and book all non-profits that use the rooms
• Track and book all volunteers hours/dates/times
• Send detail sheet to caterer that is booked, keep them updated
• Run through Event Detail Sheets prior to events being carried out as needed
• Professionally and skillfully address un-expected situations attempting to lessen or eliminate any negative impact on the event or event guests
• Ensure the protection of The Center's guests, property, staff and reputation
• This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, but representative of the position as a whole. The Non-profit Coordinator is expected to be a team player and pitch in as needed by the organization.
