Job Description

  • Acts as the point person within VIVOTEK USA to manage all aspects of assigned accounts and develop new ones as targeted by sales management.
  • Responsible for strategic management of the accounts with the goal of deepening the VIVOTEK relationship across product lines, geographical boundaries and over an extended time frame.
  • Works with the Regional Sales Managers to build a team approach within the account and coordinates all resources and communication between sales, business development, sales engineering, marketing, etc.
  • Writes and maintains all documentation within our CRM related to the account including meeting minutes, notes, account agreements, etc.
  • Assembles necessary reporting as required
  • Responsible for coordinating any post-sales support or technical assistance, utilizing the resources and various teams as above.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct industry experience with strong knowledge of the physical security market, including products and future trends preferred.
  • 2+ years in the role of National/Key Account Sales, ideally in the video or physical security markets. Prior experience of Outside Sales would be preferred.
  • Strong account management skills with particular focus on strategic planning.
  • Proven ability to build strategic and trusted relationships at all levels within the assigned accounts.
  • Strong communication (verbal, listening, written), presentation, and training skills.
  • Strong technical background
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to listen and tailor a presentation to meet customer needs
  • Good public speaking skills
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Frequently required to lift 20-50 lbs., occasionally more
  • Expected travel time for this position is between 50%-70%
  • Valid Passport for travel within North America (U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico)
