MEMBER SERVICES CONCIERGE

With the demand growing at Griffin Club LA, we are looking for personable, experienced team members to improve our member experience across the entire club and bring it to the next level. We are seeking fun, enthusiastic, and creative individuals who are self-starters and have a strong work ethic.

SUMMARY

The Member Concierge will answer, record, and process all member calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns and contact the appropriate individual or department as necessary to resolve the member call, request, or problem.

The Member Concierge responds to all member requests for special arrangements or services by deciding or identifying appropriate providers. The Member Concierge will respond to special requests from members with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction. The individual in this role will gather, summarize, and provide information to members and their guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events and activities.

The Member Concierge will review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks or pass down. The Member Concierge will monitor club property and provide service, audit safety conditions, and ensure the well-being of members/guests. The Member Concierge will report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and complete safety training and certifications. The Member Concierge will welcome and acknowledge all members/guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank members/guests with genuine appreciation.

The Member Concierge will speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. The Member Concierge will develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Must be willing to work as a team player with all Club staff.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure, solve problems and multitask.

  • Must be professional, polished, and well groomed
  • Organize, coordinate, and implement various services and programs and act as an information source for help to members and their guests
  • Greet members and guests as they enter the Club and ensure complete satisfaction
  • Answer and route all phone calls to the appropriate departments or person
  • Assist in ensuring Club is always in tour condition
  • Manage package deliveries and notify appropriate departments
  • Assist in the operation of Club events and activities
  • Maintain and communicate, in detail, information pertaining to Club events and services
  • Create and maintain meaningful relationships with members and their team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Hospitality
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Skilled in direct interaction with members and their guests
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work with management staff and other employees in a professional manner
  • Must be 18 years of age or over
  • Ability to work a variety of schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Advance knowledge working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong technical literacy and the ability to work in multiple systems
  • Must be high energy and outgoing

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is usually indoors, in a controlled environment, and in some cases outdoors and experiences a moderate noise level in the work environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
