The Member Service Support Specialist is responsible for assisting the credit union in living out our vision of delivering an experience that is simple, fun, and more rewarding for everyone. To achieve this goal the employee must provide outstanding member/customer service and a key component of this service is to identify the needs of our members and recommend an appropriate credit union solution. In addition, this position is responsible for answering incoming calls, evaluating, and executing financial transactions in an accurate manner while maintaining and growing positive member relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent service to members and non-members via inbound phone calls, emails, chats, online banking messages, and video chats
  • Assisting members with various financial items, including online banking, suspicious account activity, debit card PIN resets, fee reversal requests, and making a payment
  • Assisting members and non-members with understanding the various products and services offered by the credit union (i.e., savings, checking, personal loan, auto loan, online banking)
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Fraud) regarding member transactions, reporting fraud, and other issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years of post-high school education in a business-related field, or a combination of education and experience in retail, sales, or technology, preferably in a credit union or bank.
  • State-issued Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to work evening shifts on a regular basis and at least 1 Saturday per month.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
