The Position:

Our Medical Assistants/Medical Receptionists play a vital role in the success of our business and are instrumental in helping patients feel at ease while in the office. You will help keep the office running smoothly by performing routine clinical and administrative tasks. You would be working as a member of our South Carolina team and you will be assisting all departments to give our patients a great experience.

The Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the phone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Prepares patients for health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them into the patient room
  • Assist in set-up and cleanup of treatment rooms
  • Assist physicians and providers during treatments and medical procedures
  • Maintains equipment and supply inventory
  • Obtain vitals and record patients' medical history, chief complaint and pertinent medical information in our EMR
  • Record services rendered for proper billing and coding
  • Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
  • Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidential and following strict HIPAA guidelines
  • Provide great customer service
  • Provides patient education

The Requirements:

  • Highly professional, personable, and must share our commitment to patient care, service and team work
  • Medical assistant experience: 1 year (Preferred), however will train the right candidate
  • Candidate must be willing to travel to multiple locations(Greenville, Spartanburg & West Columbia)

License:

  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (Preferred)
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (Preferred)
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
