Job description

The Medical Biller - Patient Care Service Coordinator position will provide billing/AR, coordination of care type services to potential and current patients. Services will be provided in an outpatient/office setting. As a Medical Biller -Patient Care Coordinator, you will assist in Milestone Therapy Group’s mission in providing the highest quality care and services to assist children.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for billing, Accounts Receivable (AR) and authorization matters
• Reconcile billing, accounts receivable, financials related to patient billing
• Responding to patient billing or financial inquiries
• Perform benefits checks, prior authorizations for patients
• Completing daily documents and reports including referrals, authorizations and financial reports
• Additional, administrative duties as required
• Participate in program development, quality improvement
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all client records, correspondence as per HIPAA
• Maintain professional relationships with co-workers, patients and patient families

Qualifications

· Medical billing experience of at least 1 years

· Customer service mindset

· Excellent communications skills

· Attention to detail

· Outstanding patient and customer skills

· Ability to multi-task in a busy environment

· Knowledge of technology including keyboarding, and data entry skills

· Complete competencies as mandated

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
