We are hiring at Bayou City Dermatology! A growing dermatology practice serving the Houston area in Clear Lake, Cypress, and River Oaks. We are looking for a highly motivated and friendly Medical Assistant or Medical Scribe to provide exceptional patient care at our Webster office.
Gap-year students are encouraged to apply!
The position is full-time (if interested in part-time, please let us know). Normal hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. We are open some Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm.
Responsibilities Include:
- Taking medical histories
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients
- Preparing patients for examinations
- Assisting the physician during examinations
- Instructing patients about medications
- Transmitting prescription refills as directed
- Completing progress notes
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent education (examples include: GED, verification of homeschool equivalency, partial or full completion of post-secondary education, etc.)
