SUMMARY

This role will lead and provide continuous improvement within maintaining the accuracy of master production schedule plans with the critical objectives to consistently meet or exceed forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and on-time-delivery (OTD) to business model lead-times targets. Ensures that the company achieves and maintains the highest possible customer rating for satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

· Creates standard work, stands sequence of planning process and overall calendar of events focused on customer satisfaction, shop floor execution and system optimization.

• Reviews capacity plans, analyzes constraints and proposes an operational plan back to the manufacturing team.
• Reports regularly on operations and service production metrics and KPI's, identify trends and issues, and suggest counter measures to improve KPI performance.
• Responsible for material analysis requirements to load the master production schedule into our ERP system and planning tools, understanding material, manpower, and machine capacity constraints. Set target inventory stocking levels for raw material, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.

· Maintains data integrity of ERP planning parameters.

· Develops, maintains, and communicates planning & metrics of actual vs. planned performance.

· Leads planning and development of schedules.

· Establishes demand and planning time fences.

· Controls planning data, lead times, order quantities,

· Creates master production schedules to support customer service and inventory turn goals.

· Drives, promotes and develops positive communication with operations, engineering, quality and other departments to continuously improve.

· Recognizes marketplace requirements and create an environment in which the use of effective scheduling logic simultaneously produces realistic master schedules and customer satisfaction.

· Creates, monitors and maintains internal systems within the facility to enhance on time delivery.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree (Business Management, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management preferred) or equivalent.

· or five to ten years of experience in production master scheduling/Supply Chain Management and/or training.

· or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Knowledge of the medical device manufacturing industry strongly preferred.

· Fundamental understanding of end-to-end supply chain and the down-stream impact of demand fluctuations.

· Strong leadership and project management skills.

· Experience in development of team activities.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office and its

applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, ect), e-mail, communication platforms (Zoom, Teams).

Knowledge of manufacturing software and ERP systems (EPICOR is strongly preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
