Acara Solutions is looking for a Manufacturing Technician for our client located in Amityville, NY.
- Design, analyze, modify, test, and evaluate antenna systems and subsystem-level components.
- Comprehend mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams!
- Seeking an individual contributor in performing complex electronic testing and troubleshooting tasks using oscilloscopes, mega ohm meters, spectrum, and network analyzers.
- Expert at network analyzer measurements (VSWR, isolation, insertion loss, power, gain).
Pay and Benefits:
- The salary for this position is between $20.00 and $35.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
- High School / Secondary Education plus 4+ years of technician/troubleshooting experience
- Comprehend mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Basic computer skills i.e., MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Ability to maintain detailed test logs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience evaluating antennas in anechoic chambers and using network analyzers
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- The shift for this position is traditionally from 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM. Some flexibility is permitted.
