At Lightweight Manufacturing we specialize in heat-pressing plastic-coated industrial fabric panels. We are looking for hard-working, dedicated team members with an interest in working with architectural and industrial fabrics to create beautiful tensile structures.

We are looking to add to our production team. This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week, 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, .

Description: At first, employees will assist machine operators in handling materials (moving, cutting, packing, etc.). With further training employees will begin to operate industrial sewing and fabric welding equipment themselves. Material handling can involve moving large fabric panels, cutting, inspecting, working on a table or floor, etc.

**This job involves physical activity. At times employees will need to handle large or heavy fabric panels with a team of coworkers. Applicants must be prepared for regular bending, standing, working on the floor, etc. These are not constants, but vary job by job, and day by day. **

Requirements: ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English, basic knowledge of measurements (knowledge of the metric system is a plus), must have strong attendance and reliability. Employees are not expected to perform heavy lifting on their own, however they must be able to perform physical aspects of the job for extended periods of time, such as working on your feet, bending, working on the floor, and moving materials. Applicants must work well as part of a team.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.

All training in this specialized field is provided internally.

Pay rate: Negotiable, minimum $ 16/hr
