Enel’s e-Mobility division is an innovative provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions built upon a disruptive business model: by selling market-leading smart-grid EV charging hardware and software solutions into a rapidly-expanding electric vehicle market, we provide immediate benefit to EV owners and charging station operators while simultaneously delivering valuable, cloud-based load management services to utilities and grid operators.

What You'll Do at Enel::
Responsibilities, include, but not limited to:
The successful candidate must be able to thrive in a remote working environment and within a business unit that is undergoing rapid growth and transformation. You must be self-motivated and take ownership of not just managing & selling but also engaging with internal and cross departmental resources to get what you need to be successful. At times, non-sales activities may be required to execute on your opportunities. This opportunity requires managing a team of channel Sales Associates & Account Executives to exceed quotas, actively driving major net-new channel pursuits & supporting existing key channel partners.
    • Exceed team revenue & TCV quota by supporting, building & managing a team pipeline across key channel segments: Distributors, resellers, CPO, Auto OEM/Dealership, EPC, ESCO, Lighting, Solar.
    • Identify, cultivate and manage go-to-market efforts: create term sheets, define program requirements, negotiate agreements, launch programs, marketing campaigns, ongoing communication, IT and data sharing, metrics development and reporting, etc.
    • Target channel partners with access to ‘site hosts’ such as retail, convenience stores, gas stations, quick serve restaurants, etc. to secure locations for EV charging deployments; work with 3rd party ‘Owner/Operator’ partners to broker contracting between all parties.
    • Secure executed contracts with the targeted customer segment by leading and championing contract negotiations with clients and owning internal management and legal stakeholder buy in and acceptance.
    • Maintain active and deep knowledge of utility and government rebate programs and their direct financial impact to customer costs/value
    • Work with business development teams to optimize the utilization of NEVI funds by leveraging partnership opportunities.
    • Coordinate resources with global business development team to maximize penetration within key, global accounts
    • Develop account plans and coordinate strategy with other divisions/regions of Enel X Way
    • Work with sales leaders and legal on price negotiations and contract creation
    • Work with Marketing to identify and execute on lead generation campaigns
    • Manage team to follow salesforce.com best practices and maintain pipeline health reports

What You've Accomplished::
  • Minimum of B.A. or B.S. undergraduate degree required
  • 7+ years minimum work experience in C&I EV charging, energy storage, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and/or energy/sustainability solutions sales.
  • Highly organized and able to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions: used to working to tight deadlines and able to work under own initiative
  • A proven record of managing $1M+ deals, meeting or exceeding all quarterly and annual sales goals and financial metrics
  • Ability to demonstrate ROI to VP and C level executives, as well as interact with other key influencers such as sustainability, finance, facility managers and engineers
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, independent problem solver and creative thinker with exceptional follow through and the highest levels of integrity
  • An assertive ‘get it done’ mentality- Comfortable in bringing people, processes or systems together to achieve common goals
  • strong negotiation skills, a sense of initiative, and drive to exceed goals
  • A self-starter who requires limited supervision
  • Ability to accurately forecast deal timelines
  • Territory will cover North America (regular, yet not intensive, travel should be expected
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • A strong understanding of corporate buying cycles and a “rolodex” of relationships with senior level decision-makers (VP and above)
  • Understanding of e-mobility and charging business models, practices, and direction
  • Technical background preferred
  • Versed in rebate and incentive programs
  • Experience selling complex projects using service, lease, and capital expenditure financing methods
  • Ability to sell within the framework of a mainstream sales methodology
  • Experience with SaaS (software) solutions and service business models is a distinct advantage.
  • Demonstrated personal quota attainment in a new product category
What Enel Offers You::
The hiring range for this position is $110,976.00 to $152,592.00 per year. For remote positions, this is based on a national average base pay for this role. For positions in California this range will be specific to the location in California. The actual range may vary based on the geographic location of the chosen candidate. For all positions, the base pay actually offered will take into account various factors, including internal equity and job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
