The
Maintenance Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Facilites Manager in the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities, as well as oversee the maintenance supervisor, maintain records, and to keep Woodward's renowned facilities operating at a high level. The Maintenance Assistant Manager is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the property ensuring the campus remains clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for our guests. These vital tasks may include landscaping, cleaning, removing trash, and performing maintenance on a wide array of features at our facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Staffing Supervision
- Recruit, train, and develop Maintenance Supervisor(s) and Maintenance Team
- Oversee 1-2 supervisors by scheduling, directing, and reviewing performance
- Supervise 5-16 maintenance crew by scheduling, directing, and reviewing performance
- Plan, coordinate, lead and execute with maintenance team on all projects
Facilities and Equipment
- Oversee daily maintenance and perform weekly and monthly checks for all on-site properties
- Carry out all repairs for maintenance needs including but not limited to:Equipment, Lift, Building Maintenance and Repair,Painting,Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC Troubleshooting,Rough and Finish Carpentry,Groundskeeping,Snow Removal
- Keep detailed records for all projects and maintenance schedules
- Assist with guest requests and needs in a timely manner
- Provide a feedback report to evaluate, evolve, and elevate all equipment
- Other Duties as Assigned
Preferred Experience/Special Skills
- 5+ years' experience preferred
- Proven leadership experience preferred
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry wall repair, mechanical and fleet maintenance
- Driver's License preferred
BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:
- As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
- Reliable transportation required
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment
- Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines

- All Summer Sessions (June 5th- August 27th)
