A mid-sized Life Science company in the greater Boston area is looking to add a Logistics & Planning Consultant to their team for the next 6-12 months (possible c2h). Candidates will need to be local to the area with onsite availability (3 days/week), the ability to start asap and coming from a strong shipping and logistics background.

Required skills:

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of logistics and planning experience (ideally in the life science industry) or Associates Degree + 4-5 years experience or no degree 5+ years’ experience
• Must be able to work onsite 3 days/week.
• Must have prior experience: booking shipments, supporting logistics activities and courier booking experience (import/export would be a plus)
• Prior experience supporting cold chain, temperature excursions, shipments for triage, coordinating with couriers, shipping & receiving, monitoring global shipments and all documentation associated with this.
• Candidates should be familiar with import and export documentation associated with global shipments. Candidates should have courier booking experience (import/export would be a plus) and prior experience writing custom invoices
• Systems: Excel, Outlook, Microsoft, Oracle TMS (transportation management system)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $28.12 - $42.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
