Love your job where the Beach meets the Mountains! We are currently searching for a motivated and talented Massage Therapist to join our team at the Margaritaville Resort in Gatlinburg, TN. Located in the center of Gatlinburg, the gateway to Smoky Mountain National Park, this resort has 163 rooms and suites, Spa, Margaritaville inspired License To Chill Bar & Grill and Joe Merchants coffee shop, 4,000 square feet of meeting space and additional scenic outdoor event space. POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide clients with a sense of physical and mental well-being by providing them with massage services employing a variety of techniques.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcome clients to the spa and engage them in conversations to determine the services that they desire.
• Perform consultation to determine needs, allergens to products, desired results. Have guest sign intake form confirming this information.
• Provide service to guest based on consultation. Ensure client’s comfort level at least twice throughout service.
• Promote and sell body treatment products available in the retail area.
• Support sales goals as outlined by leadership.
• Clean and disinfect work areas exceeding standards and policies outlined by the property and TN State Law.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must have a current massage therapy license in the State of Tennessee.

Required training in Swedish, deep tissue and prenatal massage techniques. Preferred training in body treatments and hot stone massage.

Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Friendly and outgoing personality.

Professional appearance with strong verbal communication skills required with an understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
