GeoPoint Surveying is a land surveying firm with four offices in Florida, specializing in land development, oil/gas, geospatial mapping, and commercial surveys. We are seeking a Professional Surveyor and Mapper to join our growing team.
In this position you will be required to perform Boundary Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Topographic Surveys, prepare Subdivision Plats, prepare Legal Descriptions, Construction Staking & As-Built surveys, and various other types of surveys.
GeoPoint specializes in large tract land development, where we currently have several projects that are over 3,000 acres. In addition to land development, GeoPoint is well versed in Energy related projects, including, but not limited to, transmission line corridor surveys, substations, oil & gas pipeline surveys, and solar farms.

Responsibilities and Duties
Coordination with crews and technicians to establish project responsibilities and priorities
- Coordination with the other discipline leads on scheduling objectives and project milestones
- Assignment of daily responsibilities for survey field crews and office technicians
- Perform boundary analysis for large-scale sectionalized land surveys
- Sign and seal surveys, maps, and survey related documents
- Perform in-process quality control of survey field activities, calculations, and preliminary project deliverables
Qualifications and Skills
Licensed as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida or ability to obtain license within 12 months preferred
- 2 years of post-registration experience with 4 years progressive survey experience.
- Four-year degree in Geomatics or related fieldis Required for this position
- Strong technical skills, including experience with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Experience with aerial or mobile LiDAR platforms and software highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and experience with Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale private sector survey projects

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
