We are currently seeking a Lead Teacher to join our dynamic staff! The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a passion for working with young children. We're looking for an organized and efficient individual who can build strong relationships with both their colleagues and with the families of their students. The Lead Teacher is responsible for the development and implementation of lesson plans and activities, as well as daily student supervision. A background in teaching literacy is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize the classroom environment.
  • Involve students in setting classroom rules and procedures.
  • Provide continual feedback to students on their progress.
  • Conduct classroom discussions.
  • Plan and introduce lessons with a focus on student learning.
  • Be proactive at all times and ensure a safe and orderly classroom environment (e.g., by monitoring student behavior, maintaining discipline, addressing bullying).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
