This high-profile role plays a critical part in sales operation process; ensuring that equipment is delivered and installed and set-up / calibrated into our customer locations on schedule and on budget. Someone who excels at this role will consistently elevate continuous improvement ideas to the department head, thus improving the customer experience. This role works within a matrix environment.

Salary Range: DOE: $60,000 - $75,000


Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement equipment installation programs, preventative maintenance schedules, and perform service contract billing through partnerships with customers, third-party service partners and our internal field service team.
  • This role works based on existing processes and within the given system environment.
  • Provide frequent and regular communication with customers regarding schedule changes (if any), overall status of project, any scope changes as requested by customer, etc.
  • Create and develop reports for external and internal customers based on given KPIs triggers and provide customer with transparency and metrics.
  • Gaps in execution inclusive correct recognition into the systems (Salesforce and SAP) needs to be recognized quickly and resolved.
  • Create and implement projects to engage in process improvement impacting the following: profitability, timeliness, employee engagement, and/or customer satisfaction.
  • Completes projects within scope and budget.
  • Working cross-functionally with the sales and service organizations.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Strong forecasting and organization skills to build a project schedule with the appropriate clarity to assign to junior team members for execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must be able to interface on a professional level with customers during conference calls and email communication. Must also be able to communicate with key internal stakeholders cross-functionally.
  • Ability to suggest and implement process improvement to project to capitalize on learnings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or other Project Management tools (SmartSheet, Microsoft Project, etc.)
  • Strong time management and decision-making skills.

Experience and Education:

  • Preferred: PMP certification or in process, bachelor’s degree.
  • 2-3 years of project management experience involving multiple locations or 3-5 years project coordination with multiple projects.
