This is a leadership role comprising of 2 leading dimensions that of Solution Manager and IT Operations Lead.

In the Solution Manager capacity, this associate is responsible to drive the delivery of IT activities for the Power Tool business in North America. The IT SOM will continuously work with customers and stakeholders to identify their needs and expectations, including technical consulting of PT stakeholders for overall core IT needs and other associated development topics such as: ECC, S/4 Hana, JDA etc. throughout their entire life cycles.

As IT Operations Lead, the associate oversees the support and operations of IT products/Solutions with an efficient end-2-end approach and ensure a business adequate level of support/operation with the respective support/operation units.

Additional job duties include:

• Accountable for plan, build, deploy, run and phase out of the IT Solution - orchestrates responsible roles to have a stable build and run team
• Manages customer requirements, including input for IT Products/Services development
• Pro-actively consults the business in optimizing the Solution (technical, commercial) and in regards to standardization and also to bring local / legal needs into global solutions
• Plans and actively executes projects for IT Solution including planning processes in close alignment with the experts in the Solution Team and Product/Service teams (Solution roadmap)
• Manages IT Solution's dependencies and integration of involved IT Products/Services in close alignment with relevant Product/Service Owners and central solution cluster leads. Takes over accountability for interfaces
• Ensures achievement of objectives (measured by KPIs) through appropriate measures
• Manage escalations or crisis topics initiated by regional customers in close collaboration with the concerned Global or Regional teams as well as participate in Operations excellence topics in the region

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Related field (or 15 years commensurate experience in lieu of)
• 7+ years' experience of IT with clear understanding of the challenges in Operations involving SLA’s and ITIL Processes
• 7+ years' Experience and a very good understanding of business processes in the logistics and supply chain area with integration to SAP enterprise applications and overall system architecture
• 5+ years' Project management experience in leading small to medium projects, end to end
• Analytical and problem solving abilities to identify and mitigate risks
• Ability to communicate effectively with associates at all levels of the organization as well as manage expectations of business customers with regards to IT Operations
• Good understanding of performance metrics (KPI’s, SLA’s, OLA’s) and business needs
• Ability to network and leverage a globally dispersed CI team for bringing solutions to customers in the IT Operations space
