The Infrastructure Core Services Team is responsible for the global MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) environment including Inventory, Server & Client management, Software packaging and distribution, Patch management, OS deployment and Windows client OS servicing, Global Windows client strategy, Global Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Identity management, Azure SSO&MFA, Office 365 and other core services.


This individual works within a global IT team and is responsible for global patch management with MECM, Windows client OS template, deployment and administration, Software packaging, testing and deployment and further development of our MECM environment. In addition, this individual will work within a global IT team on different projects related to MECM and maintain the IT documentation for the responsible areas.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, install and maintain the MECM environment, perform architecture work, develop solutions and further development.

  • Apply new concepts, practices, technology and procedures.

  • Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions for improving the MECM infrastructure by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Manage the global Windows Patch management for Server & Clients with MECM.

  • Develop and maintain the global Windows client OS template, Windows OS deployment, Windows servicing, driver management and PXE support.

  • Develop, test, deploy and monitor software packages for scheduled or on demand distribution.

  • Build complex and dynamic collections, queries and reports as required.

  • Manage local and remote site boundaries, site systems, site roles, inter-site dependencies and communication.

  • Troubleshoots and resolving issues affecting enterprise IT users. Provide a high level of service to customers.

  • Support M&A activities and other IT projects

  • Proactively communicates the status, plans of action, and resolutions for issues.

  • Maintain the IT documentation for the responsible areas.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned or required.


Minimum Education and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

  • Experience with general IT best practices and frameworks (ITIL/ITSM).

  • Minimum of 5 years of solid hands-on experience in supporting MECM (current branch), Server management and Information Technology experience with large-scale Microsoft server environments.

  • High degree of familiarity with Windows servers and desktop products - especially Windows 10.

  • Advanced Knowledge with Active Directory administration.

  • Advanced Scripting experience required (PowerShell, VBS, batch files).

  • Advanced Experience in leading and concluding technical implementation or upgrade.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and to work within strict time frames and hard deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and complex problem solving skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels.

  • Exceptional customer service orientation.

  • Team player and intercultural competencies and experience in international projects and virtual teams.

  • Fluent English.
