We’re looking for someone like you to help propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.


As an IT business analyst, you’ll work to develop leading-edge applications and systems in support of Headquarters Marine Corps organizations. Working with our team of business analysts and alongside Government leadership, key subject matter experts, and content strategists, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll guide your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to clients, customers, and the warfighter. Work with government organizations to analyze Information Technology (IT) programs with the goal of improving the performance of collaboration processes, core operations and mission support. Capture, synthesize, and summarize key points from interviews, focus groups, and internal meetings, translating insights into draft deliverables and products. Develop creative and innovative solutions to client issues and project approaches for implementing modernization priorities, Lines of Effort and planning guidance. Assess the organization's mission via evaluation of policies, orders, instructions, and other official sources to help ensure adherence to authorities, statutes, and execution of official responsibilities. Lead development of written plans to detail recommendations for transition or implementation of new technologies, and brief results to senior-level military leadership. You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a professional environment within a military, Government, or academic setting

  • Experience with DoD or Marine Corps policy and guidance in IT Service Management, IT Governance, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Knowledge Management, or Information Operations

  • Experience with developing executive-level documents and presentations, preferably for General Officer or Senior Executive Service leadership

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with facilitating military or Government leadership conferences and working groups

  • Experience in administration, management or design of SharePoint, Teams, Jira, or similar collaborative environments

  • Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, ensure any conflicts are brought to the attention of the management team, and multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
