Earn $29.23/hour

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • supervising six caseworkers in a unit that assesses child welfare concerns
  • liaising with all school districts within Orange County
  • working closely with the Orange County department of social services to provide linkages to families for needed services
  • ability to formulate safety planning for children at risk for abuse and/or maltreatment and/or neglect
  • oversight and accuracy of case notes for all caseworkers
  • meeting all contractual performance measures
  • ability to work well under pressure
  • ability to make sound decisions
  • ability to communicate effectively and work independently
  • foster a cooperative, positive, work environment

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • 1 year working with children/adolescents in a school setting
