Overview of position

This role will partner with the Institutional Marketing Lead to develop and execute a marketing strategy that aligns with the firm’s broader brand initiatives and the business goals of the US institutional team. This is a highly collaborative position that will have touch points across the firm including the global marketing team, sales, investment, senior leadership and compliance . The successful candidate will be motivated and eager to learn and develop core marketing skills through exposure to various responsibilities within the US marketing team.

Responsibilities:

• Campaign, Brand and Digital Marketing (70%)
  • Work in conjunction with the Institutional Marketing Lead and Institutional sales leadership to develop and execute a marketing strategy that aligns with US institutional sales and distribution goals.
  • Assist in curating and distributing content across all form factors including thought leadership, email, social media, webinars and events.
  • Review and analyze data from email campaigns and webinars to provide lead generation to the sales team, measure effectiveness of campaigns and identify trends in engagement.
  • Oversee the webinar process for the US Institutional business including scheduling, content development, promotion and post-event follow-up.
• Marketing Collateral Management (20%)
  • Manage the updating and distribution of standard monthly and quarterly pieces in coordination with the investment desks, creative services, compliance and the digital team.
  • Ability to work on standard quarterly projects and incoming requests with tight deadlines
  • Ensure distribution of updated content to internal and external systems for accessibility by distribution staff
• Marketing Team Support (10%)
  • Assist the overall marketing team on designated projects and key initiatives throughout the year, including campaigns, research, events and focus priorities
  
  

Position Requirements:

• BA or BS, preferably in Marketing, Finance or Communications
• At least 2 to 4 years of working experience, preferably at an asset management or financial services firm
• Excellent relationship management, oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work on numerous projects with varying deadlines
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
• Salesforce.com and Marketing Cloud/Pardot (email marketing tools) a plus

Compensation

Schroders offers a base salary in a range of $65,000 to $75,000 for this position, dependent on qualifications and experience
