Business Development Trainer & Manager

LeadVenture is seeking a Inside Sales Manager & Trainer to lead our national BDR team. The team is responsible for contacting our prospective customers, having a deep understanding of the various markets we serve and delivering highly qualified appointments to our sales team.

The Sales Manager & Trainer is responsible for overseeing our BDR teams focusing on their development, growth, and professional accountability. The BDR Manager’s core responsibilities will include hiring, termination, on-boarding, ongoing training and ensuring the BDR team is successful.

We need someone who doesn't mind getting on calls with employees to show them how to be successful at cold calling and lead generation. This role collaborates closely with sales and marketing to maximize the creation of highly qualified sales opportunities. Reports directly to VP of Sales.

Here is more of what you’ll get to do:

  • Motivate, train and coach BDRs to meet and exceed monthly goals.
  • Develop best practice strategies and provide direction for the business development team
  • Identifying, evaluate and hire new BDR's.
  • Listen to customer calls and give feedback to employees when needed.
  • Enhance processes to achieve lead generation goals, report on metrics, and obtain KPIs
  • Define strategies with both marketing and sales leaders.
  • Monitor employees attendence and keeping them accountable.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of B2B Sales Managment experience required (preferably in the SaaS industry or with a BDR/SDR team)
  • Must have experience with 1.1 training and coaching a team of 10+ people
  • Passion for prospecting and developing sales best practices
  • Proven track record of collaborating with sales and marketing leaders
  • Process and systems oriented. CRM, soft phone systems, Gong, etc.
  • Strong organizational, communication and people management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
