Job Responsibilities:

· Design electrical and control systems for industrial laundries focusing on material handling equipment

· Understand and interpret customer requirements and translate into system specifications

· Collaborate with cross functional team of mechanical and software engineers for concurrent design approach

· Act as a liaison to Purchasing, Production, Sales, Installation and Product support departments by providing technical support

· Assist in conducting field surveys, troubleshooting and preparing electrical network layouts

· Travel up to 5% of time

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or in related field. Experience can be considered in place of bachelor degree.

· 3-8 years of electrical design experience

· Experience of industrial control panel design

· Proficiency with electrical drawing software like E-Plan (preferred), AutoCAD Electrical etc.

· Familiarity with PLCs like B&R (preferred), Phoenix, Mitsubishi etc.

· Knowledge of bus networks like B&R X2X (preferred), Allen Bradley, Siemens etc.

· Knowledge of variable frequency drives (B&R, Yaskawa, Telemecanique etc.)

· Familiarity with UL 508A panel standard

· Experience of Ethernet and network architecture

· Ability to react quickly to changing priorities

· Work under limited supervision

Desired Qualifications:

· Experience/knowledge of material handling equipment like belts, monorail system etc.

· Experience/knowledge of PLC, HMI and VFD programming

· Familiarity of Safety Circuits, Safety PLC etc.

· Ability to read pneumatic and hydraulic drawings

· Knowledge of risk assessment and ISO 13849

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
