PRIMARY FUNCTION

The position will be responsible for maintaining and identifying IT business needs for CNH Industrial product development group as a member of the ICT Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) organization.

She/He collaborates with the Application Managers and Business references to define methodologies, processes, and tool selection. Identify key users to be involved in the certification process, providing support between the end users and developers during testing of software.

She/He collaborates with other ICT departments for a full integration of the new SW into the CNHi ICT environment.

She/He interacts with the Software Vendors for the most appropriate implementation of new SW release with attention to the legacy data carry over.

She/he will provide worldwide support for the business on Product Lifecycle Management system’s development, testing, and release management.

Enable effective and efficient product design thru the implementation of a global PLM system. Manage PLM solutions for over 5,000 users located in 14 countries across 4 continents.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform analysis of Business needs through a continuous interaction with engineering business counterparts.
• Lead activities required to define and implement IT solutions to satisfy engineering’s business requirements
• Guide the selection, installation and use of computing equipment and software. Maintain current knowledge of equipment, systems, and programming techniques appropriate to the organization.
• Monitor operations and develop improvements.
• Participate in the training of key management with data processing techniques. Set policies, procedures, technical standards, methods, and priorities.
• Plan and coordinate all investigations, feasibility studies and surveys of proposed and existing information systems and machine applications.
• Plan, develop and direct the operation of information technology systems.
• Other related duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Assure SW release upgrade to provide the most advanced functionality of the software, minimizing the disruption to the Business
• Interact with SW vendor to collect all the info related the new SW release and its implementation criteria, as well as with the Licenses Manager for the preparatory licenses upgrade.
• Arrange the certification process both from a functional than a security perspective

COMMUNICATION WITH:

• Software vendors to gather information about new SW release capability
• Professional services vendors RFP/RQF, SOW, management of delivery of solutions
• Internal customers / Business for requirements collections, proposing SW configuration, customization, evaluation, and certification (focus on Product Development, Technology and Engineering Department)
• ICT colleagues for server and software architecture, network capacity and security
• ICT colleagues for compliance verification, certification, SW kit creation, SW distribution and deployment

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience following IT projects supporting Engineering and Product Development
• Experience facilitating international and multidisciplined teams
• Avalability to travel by plane
