G&R Heating & Air, locally based in Gilberts, IL, provides expert air conditioning and furnace repair services for homes and businesses located in the Northwest Suburbs, Chicagoland suburbs, and Northern Illinois — including Elgin, South Elgin, Bartlett, St. Charles, Geneva, Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Crystal Lake, Wonder Lake, and Barrington, IL.

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our rapidly growing team, with a $3,000 signing bonus, excellent benefits, and superb pay!

Pay

• $30.00- $45.00/ hour
• We offer a $3,000.00 sign-on bonus for this role!

Responsibilities

• Installation of heating, cooling, ventilation, indoor air quality devices, and similar equipment
• Inspecting the effectiveness and safety of current customers' HVAC system
• Diagnosing HVAC systems for electrical and mechanical defects
• Maintaining a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with OSHA
• Participate in all technical training
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements

Job requirements

• Minimum 5 Years of Experience Installing
• History of success and proven experience working with and installing -Residential and/or Light Commercial HVAC systems such as furnaces, boilers (if applicable), air conditioners, and some sheet metal applications
• Excellent customer service and interaction skills
• Ability to lift 50 (lbs) pounds of material/object.
• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
