Job description

Our HR administrators help manage and prepare different HR documents, help employees with issues that arise, facilitate employee onboarding, and help with payroll.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform onboarding and offboarding tasks and help new hires/rehires to ensure all onboarding documents are completed.
  • Preparing an offer letter and sending it to the appropriate candidate
  • Collecting paperwork and other related documents from the new hire
  • Providing new hires with guidelines and passwords, as needed
  • Answer new hire questions.
  • Maintain and update all records in our office systems using our computer-based tools
  • Manage the onboarding process, including applicable background checks, and medical testing.
  • Assist with password resets.
  • Handling incoming team email communications
  • Coordinate with IT to set up new employees with corporate emails.
  • Responds to employee profile updates and verification of employment (VOE) requests.
  • Ensure all new hires comply with company, Federal, and State regulations required for employment.
  • Assist with various audits and special projects as needed.
  • Support the day-to-day administrative tasks during the onboarding process.
  • Maintains up-to-date and accurate files.
  • Managing and maintaining the GM’s weekly schedules.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for long periods and use a pc keyboard; Able to deal with stress and conflict appropriately.
  • Personal accountability: Self-motivated; reliable; strong attention to detail; maintains confidentiality; comfortable handling sensitive personal information; complies with all policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bilingual – English and Spanish – written and verbal.
  • Demonstrates respect, efficiency, and excellent communication and maintains positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Maintain confidential records (office employee files, health records, protected information).
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, and ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Focused on the details, customer experience, and getting the job done efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with basic computer and office practices
  • Comfortable talking on the phone to new people.

Education

Four-year degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.

Physical requirements/Working conditions

Primarily working in a basic office environment: ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, use stairs, reach, pull and lift objects up to 15 lbs.

OTHER

Subject to Criminal background check and being able to get bonded by an acceptable surety company.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
