OVERNIGHT HOUSEPERSON

The Overnight House Attendant provides for the comfort of guests by ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and properly presented during the overnight hours of 11pm-7am. In addition, cleans public areas of the hotel/Cottages/Boat Houses, stocks linen rooms and storage areas with clean linens and assists GRA’s as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This role will be responsible for supporting the Room Attendants by ensuring guest room supplies are well stocked, trash and debris are removed as well as other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Stocks linen rooms and storage areas with cleaned linen.
• Picks-up and delivers guest request items and assists in the cleaning of public areas.
• Deliver additional linen and rollaway to guest rooms as required.
• Deliver guest requests from housekeeping.
• Collect garbage and recycling items on all floors.
• Make sure buggy is in good working condition and clean all time.
• Before shift ended make sure all pantries are clean and all bin and garbage is removed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read, write and read English
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
• Must be able to work all shifts including AM, PM, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular bending to lift items and supplies.

• Warm and engaging personality with good communication and interpersonal skills, especially verbal, with management, co-workers, guests, and other parties
• Very self-confident and mature
• Good self-discipline with an ability to complete tasks independently
