Job Summary:

Killington Resort seeks a graphic designer to conceptualize and execute marketing assets aligning with the brand guidelines, including, but not limited to logos, brochures, ads and digital assets, direct-mail pieces, posters, trail maps, fliers, banners, t-shirts and other promotional items. In addition to marketing collateral, this person will work with departments including Human Resources, Mountain Operations, Snow Sports School, Retail, Dining and more to create a consistent brand look and feel across Killington Resort. This position reports directly to the Creative Services Manager.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create, design and coordinate production of promotional materials needed by internal departments
  • Confer with Killington department managers to determine needs and develop marketing strategies
  • Work with Creative Services Manager and Brand Marketing & Communications Manager, Copywriter, Sign Shop and Content Production Team to follow through projects to completion
  • Self-manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Support the Sign Shop to ensure quality and consistency across all printed material posted at the resort
  • Communicate regularly with a variety of outside firms & organizations, i.e. printers, publications, vendors, artists, photographers, community organizations, etc.
  • Maintain digital archives of all jobs and assets
  • Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow the Resort Hospitality Guidelines while interacting with guests and respond in a courteous, efficient manner
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

Associates degree or higher in Art School or Graphic Design, plus two years of experience designing and overseeing the production of digital assets, color brochures, ads and various promotional materials, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Illustration and/or copywriting skills helpful
  • Creative and self-motivated
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to brand guidelines with limited oversight
  • Good planning, administrative, organizational, and public relations skills
  • Ability to deal efficiently with other company personnel and a variety of outside firms and organizations
