Port Huron Golf Club is seeking Golf Course Operators. The position will report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and requires managing all aspects of the golf course. Qualified candidates will possess qualifications not limited to fertilizer and chemical application, irrigation maintenance and repair, water management, work-force scheduling, personnel management, and daily operations that maintain a safe and positive work environment.

Candidates will also be proficient at learning new tasks and processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions, and communicate with club members.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver’s license.

Ability to inspect sites to detect safety concerns

Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Skills

Properly apply fertilizer, chemical, seed, and pesticides

Daily scouting for irrigation abnormality and repair

Ability to supervise, train, and work well with peers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
