Bushel Boy Farms is looking for a General Laborer - Greenhouse Lead for our indoor greenhouse in Owatonna Minnesota.

You will be responsible for:

• Deleafing - Using designated equipment, ensure that the correct amount of leaves is carefully removed without causing damage to plant
• Examining plants and surroundings, keeping area clean and free of weeds and bottom suckers
• Loading empty boxes and unload full boxes onto pallets and reload cart with empty boxes/packing trays
• Overseeing staff in a manner which ensures worker safety.
• Recording of relevant data and ROI/feasibility analysis of technology and varietal trials
• Maintaining a clean and organized greenhouse
• Ensuring that all equipment (picking carts, etc.) are kept clean and report any problems to crew leader
• Attending safety meetings and training sessions as directed
• Other duties as assigned

Things you will need:

• Ability to work holidays and overtime as business needs
• Ability to lift 35lbs regularly
• Ability to work in wet or humid conditions
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of horticulture, greenhouse environment, and growing operations. Experience in growing tomatoes highly desired but not required.
• Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) operations and licensed in application.
