Job description
We are independent contractor with FedEx Ground and are hiring full full time/part time delivery drivers. Drivers will be operating out of the South San Francisco terminal. Your responsibilities include: scanning, delivering/picking up packages, pre and post trip vehicle inspection daily, and superior customer service. All delivery routes are located in San Francisco in the residential area in the Sunset and Richmond district.

Available schedules Full Time: Sunday-Thursday
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- 1 year of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 3 years OR 5 years of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 5 years. Driving experience must be verifiable.
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam
- Must agree to a background check
- Physically able to handle packages up to 150 lbs.
- This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the truck
- Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or DHL is a plus
DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain 100% service performance – Deliver all the packages every day in a timely manner.
- Have dependable transportation.
- Drive safely by following the company safety plan and additional training.
- Complete Daily DOT inspection for your vehicles before and after each route.
- Comply with drug testing as required.
- Treat customers with respect.
- Follow FedEx Ground procedures for scanning and marking all packages.
- Follow FedEx Ground procedures when handling and delivering packages.
- Ensure trucks and packages are secure at all times.
