Event Assistant

• Coordinate with teams the booking of conference rooms, manage a variety of company calendars, understand event needs, develop space and seating setups, and communicate this information with other members of different cross-functional teams
• Ensure all deliverables and deadlines are identified and managed daily to meet expectations of each project
• Work to set up, staff, and breakdown various events of all sizes on campus
• Suggest new best practices and process improvements based on experience
• Work within specified budget requirements for each event
• Assist in the creation and execution of virtual event experiences as well as hybrid experiences combining both in person and virtual attendees
• Participate in retroactive reviews of all events completed to measure impact and resonance of your work

• Collaborate with teams to curate programming and event ideas for LAX campus and other west region campuses (Seattle, St. Louis, Bay)

• Assist with alignment of branding and marketing collateral across all campus displays

• Manage multiple small to medium scale projects simultaneously, nurturing them from creation to completion while working with partners to align around the desired end result
• Continued administrative support from various teams as needed

• 2+ years of experience in event logistics
• Knowledge of the elements of live production (audio, video, lighting, staging) and how to integrate these elements together to create a memorable experience
• Highlight organized with experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills

• Experience working at tech or creative entertainment companies
• Interest in gaming and empathy for the player experience
