Job Title: Director of Operations

Location: Mesa, AZ (Also goes to Tempe and Queen Creek)

Schedule: Full Time (Mon-Fri 0800-1700)

Wage: $60,000 - $65,000 / year base

Benefits: Full Benefit Package

Setting: ENT / Otolaryngology Practice

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to manage our ENT clinic's daily operations. The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the clinic, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement clinic policies and procedures that ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA, while also promoting patient safety and quality of care.
• Manage the clinic budget and financial performance, ensuring that revenue targets are met or exceeded and expenses are controlled.
• Supervise the hiring, training, and performance of all clinic staff, including clinical and administrative personnel, and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure that all staff members are up-to-date on relevant regulations, standards of practice, and clinical protocols.
• Oversee the scheduling of appointments and procedures, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that the clinic provides high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ensure that all clinic facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and effective manner.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and enhance the overall patient experience.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, and implement solutions as appropriate.
• Monitor and report on clinic performance metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare or medical setting.
• Working knowledge of federal and state regulations, including HIPAA.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and use it to drive process improvement.
• Proven track record of achieving financial targets and managing budgets.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with electronic health record systems preferred.
