JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the supervision and workflow coordination and results of the Bindery operation
• Ensures production schedules in the Bindery department are met
• Controls the flow of material and utilization of labor to ensure on-time delivery targets are achieved
• Ensures products meet or exceed customer quality standards and required delivery schedules
• Enforce company quality control (QC) and safety policies, procedures, and associated tasks
• Promotes strong lines of communication across the facility to encourage teamwork and employee engagement
• Supervise, direct, coach, motivate, and evaluate employees' performance
• Consistently enforces Plant cGMPs
• Delegates appropriate activities to assigned personnel.
• Provide detailed information and supporting documentation of daily production outcomes
• Performs other job duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Related technical or supervisory discipline preferably in the Printing Industry or related field
• High school diploma or G.E.D
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the production or manufacturing
• Experience in manufacturing practices and track record of achieving production, quality, and cost objectives while maintaining a safe and positive environment for employees
• Experience with printing, offset printing, bindery, and distribution – preferred
• Ability to analyze a situation, create solutions and problem-solving
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and customer Spec Sheets
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
• Ability to work well under stressful and time-sensitive situations
• Strong mathematical skills
• Attention to detail is a must
• Good organizational skills
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to interface with all departments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Occasional bending and reaching
• Standing and/or walking for long periods of time with or without accommodations
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
• This job is physically demanding and requires the job holder to be on their feet, walking and moving throughout production floor long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
