Job Summary

Summary:

The Device Technician is a customer facing position that provides support to the organization’s endpoint desktop computing environment. Device technicians are responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance. Additionally, troubleshoots problems and resolves issues in accordance to our Service Level Agreements and departmental practices. Providing assistance to onsite and remote end-users are routine daily tasks. Ability to analyze user requests, build new endpoint computer systems, and deploy printers for small to medium sized projects is a requirement. Device technicians are responsible for resolving incidents and tasks using ServiceNow and accurately maintaining computer equipment in the hardware asset management system.

This position requires good listening skills, ability to recognize problems and respond accordingly, systematically gather information, sort through issues with assistance, seek input from others, and make timely decisions. Serves as a collaborative team member in the areas of work ethic, values, and customer service while demonstrating compassion for patients and the community. Develops and maintains effective relationships and communications with leaders, technical/application teams and external customers. Assumes other duties as assigned.
