We have an immediate need for a Design Technician in our Reynoldsburg, OH corporate office. Position summary:

• Create seating and interior CAD layout, parametric 3D models, and 2D drawings for Tier 1 automotive seating and interior design section projects. Support projects from prototype to mass production.

Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience:

• Associates Degree in Design or Engineering or 2+ yrs. experience in Design/Engineering
• Proficient with CATIA v5 solid/surface modeling and drafting
• Experience / Knowledge of GD&T

Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Utilize CATIA v5 to create parametric CAD models, drawings, etc. u sing best practices and techniques
• Support Engineers with CAD layouts and checks, drawing creation, and design changes
• Use CATIA v5 to create solid models and other analytical data
• Provide customer with on-site technical, modeling, drafting support as needed
• Support prototype and testing builds
• Troubleshoot data concerns
• Attend all trainings as required
• Keep record of all hours (personal and project), overtime and compensatory time
• Work on a measurable annual project and other job duties as assigned
• Ability to travel locally (driving), domestic and/or internationally (air) without restriction (typically less than 10%)
• Other duties as assigned
