Dental office in Fox Chapel is seeking a Part time Front Desk Receptionist. The dental patient coordinator is responsible for the front desk operation of the dental practice. This entails all aspects of patient check-in and check-out including gathering and verifying all patient information, entering charges and collecting patient fees. This position will answer incoming phone calls, schedule patient appointments and prepare bank deposits. Must be a great team player, self starter, work quickly and efficiently under pressure, have problem solving skills, excellent customer service skills and work well with a diverse population. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES And FUNCTIONS

• Actively participates in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service.
• Verify patient correct insurance information is on file and collect co-pays
• Dental billing
• Coordinate all aspects of patient care
• Cheerfully greet and check-in patients
• Answer phones Schedule appointments

Accurately maintain detailed patient records in a fast-paced environment

• Perform clerical duties such as copying, faxing, emailing, etc..
• Professional demeanor throughout the work day
• Assists with other duties as needed Required Skills Required Experience Required Qualifications  Two years of medical or dental office experience is required  Experience with dental billing software  Able to multi-task without losing quality work  Certified Dental Assistant is a PLUS, not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
