QMI and Riot Glass are poised to grow by entering new markets, launching new products, and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. We are seeking a talented individual to expand our regional dealer network and drive significant sales growth in the region.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Maintain and expand relationships with commercial door dealers, hurricane / storm product dealers, window and door dealers, glaziers, security consultants, and exterior home improvement companies. Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales goals and strategic objectives for the region, including identifying new dealer opportunities and supporting regional launch of new products. He/she will expand QMI’s presence and grow incremental sales in target market segments.

Candidate will be our field subject matter expert in the Northeastern US for the entire QMI and Riot Glass product lines. Early emphasis will be on seasonal hurricane / storm products, quickly pivoting into commercial security.

Territory will cover the following states: NY, NJ, PA, WV, VA, MA, CT, NH, RI, VT, ME, and Washington DC.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in existing regional dealer accounts; identify and develop new dealers
  • Act as a primary point of contact for dealers and customers throughout their experience with QMI and Riot Glass; bring energy and consistent follow-up on all questions/issues and ensure follow-through
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Manage lead conversion data, ensuring key customer information is maintained in CRM system
  • Work to understand unmet product needs for different applications, bringing them to life for Engineering / Operations personnel to develop and deliver
  • Coordinate the involvement of other QMI and Riot Glass personnel, including support, service, and management resources in order to meet objectives
  • Train dealer salespeople on methods of identifying targets for QMI and Riot Glass. This may include ride-alongs with dealer salespeople and training on the proper sales techniques and installation methods of QMI and Riot Glass products

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent relationship building skills with track record of applying in dealer / re-seller environments
  • Excellent prioritization, time- management, and self-motivation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • This position requires extensive travel within the assigned territory

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of hands-on, business-to-business (B2B) sales experience in building materials, glazing or glass sales, construction, or other engineered products (role could include some business-to-consumer sales.)
  • Ability to understand blueprints, technical drawings, and/or specifications
  • Experience with rolling shutters, window treatments, door systems, or windows is a plus
  • Experience with hurricane, storm or security products is a plus
  • Experience with security glazing, ballistic security solutions is a plus
  • Degreed individuals preferred but equivalent experience will be considered

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with applicable software such as MSOffice
  • Capable of utilizing company quoting software and CRM programs

  • Base salary commensurate with experience + commission

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
