A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a senior level Database Administrator to join our team in Egg Harbor Township, NJ supporting the Federal Aviation Administration. The qualified candidate will be a highly responsible, team-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic. Qualified candidates need the ability to act independently, possess analytical and excellent interpersonal skills and can work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate changes to databases, test and implement the databases.
• Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
• Develop standards and user guidelines to access database.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems.
• Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
• Schedule, plan and supervise the installation and testing of new products.
• Monitor database performance and develop optimum values for database parameters.
• Specify users and user access levels.
• Identify and evaluate industry trends in database systems.

Skills Required:

• Prior database administration experience.
• Strong analytical background in gathering and interpreting complex data.
• Excellent communication skills.
• US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.

Skills Preferred:

• Experience working on FAA programs.
• Certification programs like Oracle Certification Program and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator are a big plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 15-20 years relevant experience OR
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 12-17 years relevant experience OR
• PHD in a related field and 8-12 years relevant experience.
