HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
As a Customer Service Representative, you are a vital part of the Oregon Tool team and our customers. You are the primary support contact for providing customer service for domestic and/or international trade customers including retailers, distributors, and OEM accounts in the concrete cutting and finishing (CCF) market. You are responsible for proactively supporting the selling process from order to delivery and provide best in class customer service to our customers. You interact and coordinate the needs of our customers with the internal Oregon Tool organization (all locations), such as: product line, shipping, planning, accounts receivable, and logistics personnel.

THE DETAILS:

  • Reports to CCF Customer Operations Manager
  • Supports call center; receive and enter customer orders via phone, email, EDI or MRP requirements
  • Provide timely communications and follow up to the customer on order status, availability, pricing, promotions, shipment information, credit issues, returns and any other service requirements to support the customer
  • Work closely with managers on account activity and product line teams and planning to resolve schedule conflicts, new product introduction, and capacity/tooling issues
  • Create and maintain customer master data, payment terms, transportation times and internal tracking documents
  • Manage account disputes
  • Verify and process contractual rebates, fines, and other deductions ensuring that Oregon Tool meets the terms of our contractual agreements
  • Allocate product appropriately to support sales forecast
  • Engage in promotional discussions and support marketing and sales initiatives
  • Work with operations to support targets and other metrics
  • Review practices and identify and implement ways to improve customer satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 2+ years of experience working in business-to-business customer service role; utilizing a formal business system to enter orders, pricing, and maintenance of master data
  • Accuracy, the ability to multi-task, detail oriented, good organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet to provide the best service to our customers
  • Teamwork, flexibility, and a positive “can do” attitude are essential
  • Take initiative, seek and act on opportunities to improve organization performance
  • Ability to translate specific goals into action and follow through to achieve goals
  • Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn; seek out development activities to improve skills and increase knowledge; learn from other team members and own mistakes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred)
  • Multi language skills a plus
  • You do not need to possess 100% of these qualities to be considered

AVAILABILITY:

  • This is a hybrid role with initial training onsite. Must be available to work onsite as required by job; eligible for domestic and international travel several times per year up to two weeks’ duration.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Oregon Tool is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $48,000 to $56,000.
