Looking to apply your experience to a purpose-driven, operationally focused, and growing team making a positive impact in the world? The Customer Finance Representative takes a hands-on approach and serves as the liaison between front office sales team and middle office finance to coordinate customer onboarding and credit decisioning. Thriving in a remote, fast-paced, dynamic environment, the Customer Finance Representative supports our Finance department. This role plays an instrumental part in bringing clean, affordable, and modern energy to the world.

Helps Soligent make a positive impact by:

  • Monitoring credit email for new dealer applications and credit requests
  • Validating information on application and supporting documents
  • Utilizing credit bureau reports and interpret results
  • Analyzing KYC (Know Your Customer) documents (Corporate Filings, Tax Forms, etc)
  • Evaluating Terms and Conditions and escalate any redlines for approval
  • Entering customer information into NetSuite after confirming all relevant customer data
  • Overseeing information collected during the onboarding process to relevant stakeholders
  • Performing maintenance on existing customer records
  • Facilitating credit renewals by proactively engaging with customers
  • Reviewing the aging report and pursuing collections of past due amounts
  • Maintaining accurate information on customer accounts
  • Assisting with assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers as needed, including establishing payment terms and credit limits
  • Producing and maintaining reports to track credit renewals
  • Identifying, documenting, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Cross trained with Customer Finance Representatives to assist as needed interdepartmentally
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Required Skills/Proficiencies: The Customer Finance Representative must have the following skills:

  • Proficient in Excel and Word, ERP/CRM Experience
  • Familiarity with basic business principles, corporate structures and financial statements
  • Ability to review and interpret consumer and business credit reports
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment
  • High level of organizational skills
  • To respond courteously and promptly to upper management or customer inquiries
  • Excellent communication and follow through skill

Compensation for this role for a candidate based in Colorado is expected to be between $21-23.00 per hour and for a candidate in NYC is expected to be between $21-23.00 per hour, but may be higher or lower in other States due to geographic differentials in the labor market.
