Killeen, TX - CT Technologist
$7,500 sign on bonus - Eligible after 90 days of employment

Pay: Ranging between $23.80 and $35.00

We are looking to hire a CT Technologist to join our team at our beautiful facility located in Killeen, TX!

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4pm to 12:30a

CT Technologist day to day responsibility:

• Maintaining effective communication with medical staff, administrative staff, nursing staff and other team members
• Assisting in the Quality Assurance / Improvement Program of Imaging Services
• Performing quality control on equipment and notifying management immediately of any potential malfunction or hazard of equipment
• Adhering to appropriate radiation safety, practicing the concept of As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA)
• Explaining CT procedure to the patient and/or family member in a thorough and professional manner
• Performing CT procedures ascertaining appropriate imaging parameters (MAS, KVP, positioning, etc.) are utilized, providing physician with a quality diagnostic procedure
• Entering and retrieving patient information from the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS)
• Transporting patients to and from Imaging Services
• Ordering supplies for the department in a timely manner
• Preparing and maintaining department paperwork, verifying accuracy of information

CT Technologist requirements:

• Licensed by the Department of State Health Services Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for Computerized Tomography (CT) is ideal
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
