The Craftsman / CNC Operator reports to the Shop Foreman is located in Omaha, NE.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Craftsman / CNC Operator is responsible for loading material and running cabinet programs on the router and beam saw to supply the facility with processed parts for assembly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and set up machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturing
• Lift wood pieces onto machines, either by hand or with hoists
• Operate woodworking machines, including saws and milling and sanding machines
• Listen for unusual sounds or detect excessive vibration in machinery
• Ensure that products meet industry standards and project specifications, making adjustments as necessary
• Select and adjust the proper cutting, milling, boring, and sanding tools for completing a job
• Use hand tools to trim pieces or assemble products
• Other duties as assigned

• Understand detailed architectural drawings, schematics, shop drawings, and blueprints

• Ability to navigate computer and router software
• CNC Machine Operation Experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma
• 1-3 years woodworking experience
• 1-3 years CNC operation
• Ability to successfully pass a background check

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
