WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

CNH Industrial is seeking an experienced Control Systems Integration Engineer for Electrification with a background in Mechatronics/Robotics and with the responsibility to define System Architecture and Control Strategy applied to Electric Vehicles in the Construction Equipment field.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Definition of the Functional specifications and System Architecture of EVs.
• Maintain knowledge of vehicle embedded control systems as well as electric and battery related systems.
• Analyze and understand customer problems and issues to convert these insights into SW related solutions.

• Work closely with all the Engineering Community in all phases of development including concept, design, architecting, prototyping, and production
• Implementation, performance optimization and maintenance of Control software
• Contribute to software design reviews, architecture reviews, and team best practices
• Continuous research to stay updated with state-of-the-art Electrification Technology
• Work closely with Homologation and functional Safety board for safety architecture evaluation and design.

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s or advanced degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanic or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience on automotive industry.
• Strong Mechatronic background, with special reference to Electro Hydraulic Systems
• Deep understanding of Electrified Vehicles architecture and main electric drives control strategy
• Preferred experience with development and integration of High Voltage components like electric motors, power electronics, converters.
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, C/C++ programming language
• Proficiency with professional software engineering practices & standard practices for the full software life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Preferred experience in vehicle networking protocols tools such as CAN, Ethernet
• A strong background in requirements developments and management processes.
• A solid background on FMEA/Safety processes and methodology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams.
